Over the last decade, Fox Flight has become the carrier of choice for a number of the world’s leading travel health insurance companies and a growing number of private individuals in need of air medical transport.
The Fox Flight fleet of mobile intensive care jets stands ready to respond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our aircraft are fully-equipped and thoroughly-staffed, ready to transport ill or injured patients from across the globe.
Whether you need to repatriate a patient aboard one of our mobile intensive-care-configured Learjet aircraft or aboard a commercial airline, Fox Flight Inc. can provide you with:
• Fully licensed, certified and experienced personnel with adult, pediatric, and critical care experience.
• State-of-the-art medical equipment and supplies;
• Preflight assessment for all potential repatriations;
• Bed-to-bed quotes (ground ambulance/transportation included)
• Hospital admission assistance (where possible)
Fox Flight has a thorough history in the field of air medical transport, including repatriating ill and injured individuals world-wide via private air ambulance, commercial medical escort, and commercial stretcher. We are also part of the London Health Sciences Centre physician training and assessment program; and have flown air medical missions for government organizations, corporations and individuals all over the world.
Fox Flight Inc. arranges transportation services in connection with the relocation of patients requiring specialized medical care and or procedures such as organ transplants, cancer treatment, specialized surgery, burn care, stroke care, advanced head and spinal cord injury and rehabilitation to hospitals. Air ambulance transports are also used for the repatriation of patients who are injured or become ill away from home or facilitate the simple move of a frail loved one closer to their family members.
Fox Flight offers both Domestic and International service. CTA and FAA regulation for international destinations dictates how quickly an aircraft can be dispatched. Our dispatch division will arrange all customs, immigrations and international handling as quickly as possible with all necessary information being available and provided to us in an expedient fashion.
In many situations insurance companies will cover the costs involved depending on the medical necessity of the transport. We will bill the insurance company directly in all written pre-approved cases. Otherwise payment, including co-payments and deductibles is due prior to aircraft dispatch.
For private pay services (non-insurance coverage) we accept certified checks, credit cards, bank wire transfers, cash and pre-approved insurance as forms of payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. A combination of credit cards is acceptable. All services are paid for prior to aircraft dispatch.
While transporting the patient, we potentially accommodate a passenger who is either a friend or family member; however, this is wholly dependent on space, availability, and safety requirements. Luggage accompanying the patient/passenger will be severely limited to only one carry-on (i.e., backpack) sized item per passenger (including the patient).
Because of Canada’s wide international relations, Fox Flight Inc. has rapid access to countries that may be difficult or impossible for others to enter.
